What Your Client Said, In One List

September 21, 2026

Now every answer a client gives you on their client link, approvals and change requests alike, shows up in one list, newest first.

What it is

Your client link already lets a client watch, download, approve or ask for a change on any clip you have made for them. This improvement gathers every one of those answers, across every project filed under that client, into a single feed instead of leaving you to open project after project to see what they said.

The problem it removes

Client feedback used to live wherever the clip lived. If a client had answered clips across several projects, you had to check each one to know what still needed attention. Newest first means the most recent approval or change request is always the first thing you see.

How it works

Say a coffee brand has three projects running under one client link: a launch campaign, a set of testimonials and a batch of social cuts. Their marketing lead approves two clips in the testimonials project, then asks for a change on a caption in the social cuts project. Both answers land in the same list, with the caption change request on top, and it will not have been sent without a comment explaining what to fix.

Because nothing on the client link is a snapshot, this list stays honest too. If you edit a clip after your client approved it, that approval is marked out of date rather than quietly staying green next to a version they never saw. That marking shows in your window as well, so you know exactly which answers you can still trust and which ones need a fresh look.

Who it helps most

This is most useful when you run several projects for the same client at once, agencies managing a brand's ongoing content, a podcast producer clipping episodes on a rolling basis, or anyone juggling more than one campaign folder under a single client link. Instead of remembering which project had the last unread comment, you check one list.

Open ScriptCut and check the list on your next client link.

What Your Client Said, In One List FAQs

Does this list include approvals, change requests, or both?

Both. Every approval and every change request your client leaves shows up in the same list, newest first.

Does it cover more than one project?

Yes. It covers every project filed under that client, including projects inside a campaign folder within it.

Can a change request appear without any explanation?

No. A change request will not send without a comment, so every entry in the list tells you what to fix.

What happens if I edit a clip after the client already approved it?

That approval is marked out of date, both on their page and in your window, instead of staying marked as approved for a version they never saw.

Do I need a separate list for each client?

No. There is one live link per client, so all of that client's answers land in one list rather than being split across links.

Will old answers disappear if I turn the client link off?

No. Switching the link off keeps everything the client has already answered.
