You can now turn off the logo bug for a single clip, without touching the client's saved branding.
Every client kit burns a logo bug into each clip you export, always in the same spot, at the same size, using the client's own PNG. That setup stays fixed on purpose, so nobody has to remember it clip by clip. But sometimes you need one exception, a rough cut, a version for a platform that does not want a mark, or a preview you are not ready to badge yet. Now the Video step of any clip has a Logo bug switch. Turn it off there and that one clip goes out clean. Nothing about the client's kit, their saved logo, position, or gallery, changes for any other clip.
Before this, the only way to ship a clip without a logo meant editing the client kit itself, which risked pulling the mark off every other clip in that shape too. That is not a trade worth making for a single one-off export. This switch keeps the client's default exactly as they set it while giving you a clean way to handle the occasional clip that should not carry a mark.
Say an agency runs a coffee brand's client kit with a wordmark burned into the bottom right of every vertical clip. A producer wants to send a rough cut to the brand team for feedback before it is finished. In the Video step of that one clip, they flip the Logo bug switch off. The clip exports without the mark. Every other clip made under that kit still carries the logo exactly where it was placed.
Agencies and editors managing multiple client kits, anyone sending review cuts or platform-specific exports that should not carry a brand mark, and teams who want the freedom to skip a logo on one clip without opening up the client's saved rules.
Try it in ScriptCut.
No. The switch lives in that clip's Video step and only affects that one export. The client's saved logo, position, and settings stay exactly as they were.
Yes. The switch only applies to the clip you turned it off on. Every new clip you make still follows the client kit as saved.
Yes, the switch is in the Video step of that clip, so you can flip it back on any time before or after export.
No. Turning the logo off just skips the burn-in for that clip. If you turn it back on, ScriptCut still picks the readable version based on the picture behind it.
It's in the Video step of the individual clip, not in the client kit settings under Social > Accounts.
Yes. The switch applies to whatever shape that clip was made in, whether it's 9:16, 16:9, 1:1 or 4:5.
