You can now add extra storage to any ScriptCut plan, in packages of 100GB, 200GB or 500GB, so your projects never have to wait on space.
Every plan includes 100GB of storage. If you work with long recordings, raw footage or a lot of active projects, you can now add more on top: 100GB, 200GB or 500GB. The bigger the package, the cheaper it is per 100GB.
Long-form recordings and multiple projects add up fast. Instead of juggling what to delete or archive, you pick a storage package that matches how much you actually work with, and it renews automatically on the same rhythm as your plan. A monthly plan bills the extra storage monthly, an annual plan bills it annually. One invoice, one renewal date, nothing extra to track.
Extra storage is not available during a free trial, since nothing is charged while you are trialing ScriptCut.
Say you run a podcast and edit three episodes a month, each with hours of raw audio and video plus multiple client review rounds. Your 100GB fills up fast. You add a 200GB package from your billing settings. The space is available right away.
If you later move to a bigger package, you are charged immediately for the remaining days in your billing period and the extra space appears at once. If you move to a smaller package or cancel extra storage, the change takes effect at your next renewal date, so you keep everything you already paid for. Storage you have already paid for is never refunded.
If your extra storage ends and your files no longer fit, you get 14 days to free up space. ScriptCut emails you the day it ends and again as the date gets closer. After 14 days, video files are removed, starting with the projects you have not opened for the longest time, and only as many as needed to fit your plan.
Your transcripts, edits and audio are never removed, so every project still opens and still plays. Adding storage again at any point during those 14 days stops the process, and so does freeing up space yourself. Deleted video cannot be recovered.
This is for anyone whose recordings pile up faster than a single plan's storage: agencies managing multiple client accounts, podcast hosts with a growing back catalog, documentary editors sitting on hours of raw footage, or teams running social clip pipelines from long recordings.

No, transcripts, edits and audio are never removed, so every project still opens and still plays even if some video files are cleared.
