The video step: frame and trim your clip

When a clip needs to go vertical, the Video step handles it. Pick your aspect ratio, nine-by-sixteen for Reels and Shorts, square, or four-by-five. Turn on smart reframe and ScriptCut keeps the speaker centered as they move. Below is a real timeline: scene cuts you can adjust, trim handles to extend or tighten the ends, and Command-scroll to zoom in for fine work. When the framing looks right, click Next.
