Split and merge lines

ScriptCut will automatically create a new row for each sentence. However, sometimes a transcriber may misplace a period or misses when a sentence ends. To fix this, click into the line, put your cursor where the break belongs, and press Enter just like a regular text document. The line becomes two clean rows, and your runtime and word timing stay perfectly aligned. Splitting lines makes the script easier to skim on later, and it lets you keep one sentence and drop the next. It's the safe way to shape a long line without ever touching the words themselves. Merge with previous lets you merge two rows together.
